Engaging conversation is extremely important, whether it be on Google+, Facebook or Twitter. This is the stark difference between new age marketing and the marketing of yester years, which was largely one way. Today the successful companies are those that involve their clientele into constructive and engaging conversation. This amazing technique attracts the attention of masses in a very powerful way.

People seek and want attention and if the company is willing to engage them, they will definitely return the favor by offering their loyalties. If you talk of the total expenditure, it is more of time and efforts than money, so you can easily reduce it by hiring someone to carry out the task or simply outsourcing it to a reliable Internet marketing company. It should be spontaneous exchange of ideas. A portal development company can efficiently run your Facebook or Twitter campaigns, while you can focus on your core business.

Microsoft is going to launch the next version of its Windows Phone mobile operating system today. The release is going by the code name “Mango,” and it includes hundreds of new features, according to the spokesperson of Microsoft.

“When we looked ahead to the next release, we wanted to stay true to the principles of Windows Phone 7 – that software should get out of your way and quickly connect you to the things that matter most,” said Greg Sullivan, senior product manager of mobile communications at Microsoft. “Mango builds on the work that we did in Windows Phone 7 and extends a lot of key scenarios around communications, apps, and Internet experiences – with even more capability and a deeper level of integration.”

The new operating system comes with an interesting “App Connect” feature that connects apps to search results and is designed to surface app “when and where they make sense.” For example Microsoft’s search engine Bing is connected in a way that a user can search Bing for a movie, and the search results deliver things like show times and theater locations, but App Connect may add functionality from the Fandango app that lets you purchase the ticket right from the searched location.

Mango mobile phone of Microsoft brings with it some interesting search elements that include:

• Local Scout prioritizes hyper-local search results based on user preferences and recommends the closest restaurants, shopping and activities in an easy-to-use guide.

• Visual search enables users to initiate a Bing search by photographing barcodes, QR codes and Microsoft Tags (without using a third-party app).

• Music search allows users to search Bing and get detailed information about music (like song title, artist and album title) by simply holding the phone up to a speaker.

Mobile phone is the carrier of the operation system and an indicator of the future success of Bing. Mango is certainly going to extend Windows Phone’s global reach, so that would surely help the reach of Bing even more in addition to the recent partnerships with Nokia and RIM.

The new Windows Phone OS will be available in the fall of 2011.

We have come to a point in our civilization where making money capitalizing on someone’s fear has become a norm. Be it insurance companies or the doomsday professors, everyone is in a mad rush to cash on the worst fear you can have on this planet; and that is fear of being dead and extinct. One more such prediction was for 21st May, 2011 coined by biblical numerologist Harold Camping. Very few people might have actually taken it seriously but still the shock is great. A few of his followers are seriously impacted; some of them quit their jobs and a few spent all their life savings into erecting doomsday billboards.

Though Camping come can come up with an excuse of something interfering with the accuracy of the date of doomsday, the fact is he has lost all trust. He might have made a fortune for himself by these silly acts, but the world at large dubs him as a liar and cheater. Let’s hope people do not hurl abuses at him when he returns to work on Monday.

Seo Services & SEO Firms Websites that gets found in Google, Yahoo, and MSN, etc. is not hard to do, But most people are confused where to begin.I can offer some search engine optimization tips as per my knowledge.

Try not to purchase a new domain unless you have to. Google’s aging delay is trouble for all new domains, it is better to use your existing domain/website if at all possible. If you’re redesigning or starting from scratch and you have to use a brand-new domain for some reason, you can expect to wait a good 9-12 months before your site will show up in Google for any keyword phrases that are important to you.

Optimize your site for your target audience, not for the search engines The content should ne relevent. The search engines are looking for pages that best fit the keyword phrase someone types into their little search box. If those “someones″ are typing in search words that relate to what your site offers, then they are most likely members of your target audience. You need to optimize your site to meet their needs. If you don’t know who your target audience is, then you need to find out one way or another. Look for studies online that might provide demographic information, and visit other sites, communities, or forums where your target audience might hang out and listen to what they discuss. This is crucial information to your website design, keyword research, and copywriting.

Today most of the website owners are very much familiar with this word. As the internet marketing becoming more and more competitive, the need for a professional SEO Expert Firm emerging as one of the most important and yet non-negligible component of your internet marketing strategy.

SEO and Internet marketing!
Of course Search engine optimization has nothing to do with the marketing at all. It actually does not market your products, but when it comes to promoting your business or products online there is one major advertising platform, the Internet world know it as Search Engines. Ranking high on search engines can prove your online presence to the rest of the world. Otherwise it is worthless to have a website for your online business need or for anything else.

Choosing India for SEO Services:
The very first and a major benefit of considering India as a SEO services provider for your online business through organic search is it’s cost effectiveness and affordability. Since the value of the currency of India is very less as compared to European or Western countries, so it becomes very cheaper to them to seek a SEO Professional in India or simply outsource their SEO Projects to SEO Company in India.

Technically equipped human resource and 24×7 world wide connectivity adds some more benefit to it in the services offered by Outsourcing sem or SEO Professionals. India ranks second in the world when it comes to populationa number of wo. Also there are rld class IT institutions in India generating the new and technologically equipped manpower day by day. Currently India holds an extra edge in terms of experienced and technically sound professionals.

There are a number of more factors that made India a perfect place for Outsource SEO Services. The stable government has also impacted in a positive way to make it an IT hub for rest of the world. All big players of IT are functioning in India and opened its offices at many location of India. Google and Microsoft are well known among them. The government is trying hard to improve its information technology system of international standards to make its presence forever in the world IT industry. At present the Indian IT industry is considered as a technology of international standards.

If you are thinking to hire a SEO Expert Firm or outsource your seo projects to India then it’s a perfect choice. Your website is definitely going to rock the web and you are sure to get some extra edge in your online business. There are a number of companies that can be considered for this. You can track your sites improvement and get the report of the works performed on your website monthly, quarterly or in whatever manner you think convenient for you. Also you must request for quotes from different companies then compare all and go for the best and affordable one according your budget, deadline and plan.

1. Consider cloud marketing.
Cloud internet marketing is the best marketing solution for the current economy. It combines traditional marketing with software as a service (SAAS). By placing all of your marketing assets (product info, training, whitepapers, promotion info) online — in “the cloud” — you make them available to an unlimited number of your partners, all at one low cost.
This means your channel partners and your sales team all have instant access to your most current marketing content and ensures that you have message consistency across all your sales channels.
Cloud marketing minimizes the cost to help every partner become a better marketer of your products. Plus, companies who help their entire channel network become better marketers will be in position to take market share from short sighted vendors who react to reduced budgets by focusing on just their top selling partners.
2. Empower your sales channel.
Whether you use channel partners or an inside sales team, now is the time to make sure they have the tools they need to succeed. Use your partners’ Web sites or create individual micro-sites for each member of your sales team. These sites are a cost-effective alternative to buying banner ads to promote your sales campaigns and promotions. It’s like having customized, dynamic billboards that you can change at will and at no extra cost.
3. Maximize your internet marketing assets.
Don’t spend money to reinvent the wheel. Take inventory of all of your marketing assets. Remove any outdated or inconsistent material from circulation. Then, find ways to use what you have in other marketing channels.
Do you have killer customer quotes from a past direct mailer? Make sure to get them up on your partner/sales Web sites. Or use them in a low-cost e-mail campaign to new leads.

Brokerage firm Oppenheimer and Co’s analyst Brad Reback has said in a report on Microsoft that such layoff exercise “would be a healthy move for the company.”

The move would be well received by the market and would “signal that profitability is more important than revenue growth during this very difficult time,” Reback added.

Calling for a 10% reduction on the company’s payrolls, Reback said in his report for the institutional investors of Microsoft, this would result in an approximately 10% gain in its earnings per share.

The software giant had close to 91,000 employees on its payrolls at the end of July-September quarter.

Earlier in October, Microsoft had put in place a hiring freeze on some of its divisions, such as entertainment and devices businesses that make products like X-Box and Zune.

There have been some unconfirmed reports on blogs that the company would announce some major layoffs in the first month of 2009.

Microsoft is scheduled to release its second-quarter results for the fiscal year 2008-09 on January 22.

Battling the economic crisis, companies in their bid to save costs, have announced more than one lakh job cuts in December alone in the US, while so far in 2008 there have been close to 20 lakh layoffs.

Windows 7 will hit store shelves sometime next year. And if I had to guess exactly when it would happen, November 2 would be my answer.

Yes, I know that Microsoft has said that it plans on releasing Windows 7 by early 2010 and there has been no confirmation on the part of the software giant that would indicate a 2009 release. But when we consider that Vista is still in trouble, Microsoft extended the XP deadline even further into 2009, and there’s no end to Vista troubles in sight, I simply don’t see any other option for Ballmer and Company.

Microsoft knows all too well that it made a slew of mistakes with Vista. Intent on turning things around and putting this mess behind it, I think the company will make a major announcement in the next couple months detailing the future of Windows and the exact release date of Windows 7. In fact, it wouldn’t surprise me if we hear about it at CES when Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer takes the stage to deliver his keynote address.

For the past year, all we’ve heard from top Microsoft brass is how great Windows 7 will be. Ballmer said it will be like Vista, but “better.” Gates said that Windows 7 will be the next major release from the company that everyone will want. And time and again, when given the option of discussing Vista or Windows 7, Microsoft almost always chooses the latter.

Realizing that, doesn’t it stand to reason that Microsoft would do its best to release Windows 7 as quickly as possible? And if it was shooting for an early 2010 release when it still hoped that Jerry Seinfeld and its own brand of “I’m a PC” ads would improve Vista’s standing, don’t you think it will try to release it sooner now that those ads haven’t done anything to improve Vista’s stance in the market?

November 2 seems like the perfect day for Microsoft to release Windows 7 next year. It not only provides the company with ample time to improve the OS and get it ready for the public, but it shows vendors, software partners, and consumers themselves that it’s serious about getting Windows right this time. And perhaps most importantly, that release date puts Microsoft in the position it wants to be in: ahead of the holiday shopping season.

Say what you will about Vista and its value, but I don’t see it lasting another year. Microsoft has learned its lesson with Vista and its hellbent on ensuring it doesn’t commit those mistakes again.

That’s why Windows 7 is coming next year and that’s why I’m looking forward to it

New York—According to a new report by eMarketer, marketers will continue to stretch their budgets next year, making use of cost-efficient online ad placements. However, the report also indicated search marketing will remain somewhat recession resistant through 2009.

Search marketing will continue to grow next year, eMarketer said, rising 14.9% over its 2008 levels to $12.3 billion, bolstered by its inherent measurability, as well as the propensity of Internet users to click through more often in the search for deals.

In addition, eMarketer forecast that video ad spending growth will run counter to overall economic developments, rising by 45% in 2009 to reach $850 million. The company said this will be due to the sharp escalation of professional video content on the Web, combined by a continued desire of marketers to strongly engage customers.

As for other forms of marketing outreach, eMarketer said small and niche social networks will have a tough time gaining traction, including those that have been special-built by marketers to support their brands. Also on the down side, U.S. TV ad spend will decline 4.2% in 2009 following a 2.9% drop this year, and newspapers will see their own ad income decline by 15.9% after a 16.4% decline in 2008. —Christopher Hosford
